Description

Event Manager - Music City Center

Position is responsible for the successful execution and production of local, regional, and national events by serving as the customer liaison/advocate; assisting with pre planning, providing estimates, onsite coordination for events, and post wrap up meetings at the conclusion of an event. This position is also responsible for additional revenue generation as well as assisting associates where two or more managers are required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of direct experience in event management in the hospitality industry or any education/experience equivalent.
  • Experience with a meeting room design software system or AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Supervisory experience is also helpful.
  • Successful candidate’s former experience should contain experience in a Convention Center, Conference Center Event Manager/Coordinator, or major Hotel Convention Service Manager role at a similar size facility.
